The product has been installed in accordance with Australian Standards AS2047 and AS2048
(as amended or replaced), recognised building practice and Boral Window Systems Ltd
installation recommendations.
b)
This warranty does not extend to products that are installed in contact with a continuously
damp or moist building environment.
c)
The product has been maintained in accordance with Boral Window Systems Ltd
recommendations.
d)
The product has not been subject to misuse, physical abuse or neglect.
e)
Manufacturing standards and tolerances (as outlined in AS2047 and AS2048) and industry
variations in colour of aluminium components will not be accepted as defects.
f)
Boral Window Systems Ltd accepts no responsibility for glass breakage (except for faulty
workmanship or materials). Toughened glass, float glass and mirrored glass are warranted
against defects and degradation for two (2) years.
g)
Moving parts which wear out as a result of normal use are warranted for three (3) years.
h)
Tarnish or excessive wear on soft finishes such as bronze, brass and other antique finishes are
not covered by this warranty as deterioration is possible under some climatic conditions,
frequency of use or other factors.
i)
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the faulty product at the discretion of
Boral Window Systems Ltd, but does not extend to the installation or refinishing of a
replacement product. Installation of replacement product would be subject to our prevailing
callout fee. There is no liability for any other claims damages or costs whether special or
consequential or otherwise.
