FLYSCREENS & FLYDOORS RANGE
A perfect way to ensure those pesky insects don’t enter your home but the breeze does. Dowell Flyscreens and Flydoors compliment and integrate with our windows and doors. The most common flywire used is a Fibreglass Mesh which is a tightly woven general-purpose mesh that resists corrosion and performs well in high salinity coastal environments. If you live in Bushfire Zone (BAL) you may choose to opt for an Aluminium Flywire (BAL 12.5-29) or Stainless Steel Flywire (BAL 12.5-40). All Flywire options are charcoal in appearance to allow maximum transparency after installation. Speak to our team about any special requests your project may have as we have mesh options for resisting smaller insects such as midges, or durable flywire options for accommodating houses with large pets. Flymesh and Flywires can be installed into door frames combined with Diamond Grille to create a Barrier Door or Barrier Window Screen.
SECURITY SCREENS RANGE
Used as a tool to provide your home with important natural ventilation, regulate your homes climate all while keeping occupants and property safe. Security Screens are tough to resist break-ins but also prevent glass breakages during a storm. Made and tested to Australian Standards (AS 5039-2008) Security Screens are a great investment for any property whilst passing on some potential home insurance deductions to the occupiers depending on their choice of insurer. Mesh options for Security Screens includes woven high-tensile Stainless Steel mesh suitable for use in Bushfire Zones (BAL 12.5-40) or Perforated Aluminium (BAL 12.5-29). Whilst the Frames are colour matched the mesh is Black allowing for excellent transparency. All Security Doors are fitted with a Triple Lock Mechanism that drives multipoint locking on the door from a single locking snib. All Dowell Security Screens are Made in Australia.
